Creamy Salmon Gratin
  • 4 large rooster potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 500g-700g smoked salmon, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 280ml cream
  • 100g Cheddar, grated

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4. Layer the potatoes on the bottom of a square baking dish. Top with a layer of smoked salmon, then another layer of potatoes.
  2. Sprinkle over some garlic and pour over small amounts of the cream. Continue these layers until the salmon is gone and you end with a layer of potatoes.
  3. Finish by pouring over the rest of the cream.
  4. Top with the Cheddar and cover with tin foil. Bake for 50-60 minutes until browned on top, removing the foil for the last 10 minutes.
