- 10 potatoes, peeled
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 100g chorizo
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- A handful of fresh sage leaves, chopped
- 500g steak mince
- 1 x 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
- 1 x 200g tin of Heinz Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce
- 70g butter
Salt and black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4. Add the potatoes to a saucepan of cold water, bring to the boil and cook for 30 minutes until tender.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and cook the chorizo for 3-4 minutes. Add the onion and garlic and cook for two more minutes.
- Add the sage and steak mince and cook until browned. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook for 25 minutes.
- Add the Heinz Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce, then transfer to a baking dish.
- Mash the potatoes with butter and season with salt and pepper. Spread the mash over the top of the dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until brown and crispy on top.
