Stacey's Spicy Beef Surprise

Peanut Butter Choc Pops
  • 10 potatoes, peeled
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 100g chorizo
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • A handful of fresh sage leaves, chopped
  • 500g steak mince
  • 1 x 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 x 200g tin of Heinz Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce
  • 70g butter

Salt and black pepper
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4. Add the potatoes to a saucepan of cold water, bring to the boil and cook for 30 minutes until tender.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and cook the chorizo for 3-4 minutes. Add the onion and garlic and cook for two more minutes.
  3. Add the sage and steak mince and cook until browned. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook for 25 minutes.
  4. Add the Heinz Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce, then transfer to a baking dish.
  5. Mash the potatoes with butter and season with salt and pepper. Spread the mash over the top of the dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until brown and crispy on top.
